My name is Teshome Woldeamanual am a former teacher and the founder and publisher of TZTA International Newspaper, which I ran out of Toronto, Canada, for over 30 years. Through this work, I had the opportunity to serve the Ethiopian community while helping bridge understanding between the Ethiopian diaspora and Canadian society, including business, culture, and public dialogue.Over the years, my work evolved—from education, to journalism, to community engagement. Along the way, I observed how deeply inherited thinking, generational experience, and unspoken assumptions shape both individuals and societies. Now retired, I write from reflection rather than obligation. These books are not meant to instruct or persuade, but to share experiences, questions, and insights gathered over a lifetime of learning, listening, and change. They are offered in the hope that they may help others pause, reflect, and consider what they choose to carry forward.
